Obiettivi Valutare l’andamento delle curve TV-FV eseguite nel primo anno dopo il ricovero per bronchiolite di 129 pazienti arruolati e correlare i valori TPTEF/TE con gli episodi di wheezing durante un follow-up di 12 mesi. Risultati La correlazione tra TPTEF/TE a T6 e a T12 è statisticamente significativa e il 65% dei soggetti che riferiscono wheezing a T6 hanno un TPTEF/TE medio< 25% sia a T6 che a T12. Il TPTEF/TE a T1 correla con la comparsa di ≥3 episodi di wheezing a T12.
Conclusioni Il monitoraggio della funzionalità respiratoria nei bambini con bronchiolite si dimostra un possi-bile strumento per prevedere le sequele a distanza. 

Aims of the study Evaluating the trend of TV-FV loops performed in the first year after hospitalization for bronchiolitis of 129 enrolled patients and correlating the values of TPTEF/TE with wheezing episodes during a 12-month follow-up.
Results The correlation between TPTEF/TE at T6 and T12 is statistically significant and 65% of subjects re-porting T6 wheezing have an average TPTEF/TE < 25% at both T6 and T12. TheTPTEF/TE at T1 correlates with the occurrence of ≥ 3 episodes of wheezing at T12.
Conclusions Monitoring of respiratory function in children with bronchiolitis proves to be a possible tool for predicting sequelae in the long-term.
