- Il follow-up del neonato con problemi respiratori

  Riassunto. In questo articolo vengono analizzate alcune problematiche del bambino prematuro, broncodisplasico e non: la patologia respiratoria a breve e lungo termine, il rischio infettivo, soprattutto da virus respiratorio sinciziale e le modalità dell’ossigenoterapia domiciliare. Al termine viene presentata una proposta di follow-up, che coinvolge diverse figure professionali, attuata presso la nostra struttura ospedaliera.

Summary. In this article we analyze some of the problems affecting the preterm baby with and without underlying bronchopulmonary dysplasia. We examine the aspects relevant to respiratory disease, both at short and long term, to infective risk - especially from respiratory syncytial virus and to modality of home oxygen therapy. In the conclusion we propose a scheme of follow-up, which involves several professional roles, currently operating in our hospital.
